La Galette des Rois, or King's Cake, is the center of the French celebration of Epiphany. A delicate puff pastry baked with crème d'amande, with a porcelain fève hidden inside. Whoever is lucky enough to find the fève is crowned King or Queen for the day. Each Galette includes a fève and a golden crown for your celebration.

The Cake
The Galette des Rois is at the center of the party. The crown and a hidden fève come with every cake from Le Panier.
Finding the Fève!
Slice the Galette and serve it to your friends and family. Whoever finds the hidden fève (ceramic figurine) inside is crowned King or Queen for the evening!
Celebrate
The Epiphany is a simple celebration and it doesn’t have to be just one night! In French tradition, whoever finds the fève, hosts the next party. Sometimes there are 3 or 4 Epiphany celebrations between Christmas and Mardi Gras!

This was our first stop motion short as we sought to bring the fèves (ceramic figurines) to life. Epiphany: The Search for the French Galette was born. They explored Pike Place Market and all around the bakery to find the Galette. We hope you enjoy!
